- Flexpak strip insulation is designed to provide effective insulation on a temporary or emergency basis.
Strip insulation is 4”wide, jacketed 1/2” thickness insulation. It can be wrapped around equipment to provide temporary insulation or emergency insulation on critical equipment. It is made of the same high-quality glassfiber insulation material as all flexpak products.

Flexpak insulation adapts to all installations thus making it ideal to stock for all emergency situations.
EASY TO INSTALL
Strip insulation is easily installed on complicated equipment. Simply wrap the equipment until completely covered. Easy-to-use ties effectively hold the insulation in place.
EFFECTIVE INSULATION
The weatherproof lining and jacket covers protect the insulation from moisture. Even if the equipment being insulated is not weatherproofed, the insulation stays dry and effective.
REUSABLE
The durable materials and quality construction insure a long, usable life. When it is removed, simply re-roll for storage, ready to be installed again.
CUT TO LENGTH
Flexible strip insulation comes in standard lengths of 300cm, 900cm and 1.5m. The maximum continuous length available is 1.5m. However, all standard lengths are constructed with a double stitch every 30cm so that it can be cut to a desired length in the field without cutting into the insulation.

Begin the installation by wrapping the insulation around the equipment such that each successive pass overlaps the previous one covering the seam.
When wrapping equipment always wrap from the bottom up. This will provide a water shed.
When finished simply wrap any excess length back around and then fasten tie strips as required.
Cutting Insulation to Length
Locate double stitching found at each ten-foot interval along the insulation strip. Carefully cut with scissors between double stitching to form two separate closed ends. 
- Note
- If the need arises to cut through the insulation, simply apply a silicone glue or sealant(RTV) to the cut edge, fold over, hand-staple and allow to cure.
